Most, if not all, bubble gum balls and tablet gum are generally coated with beeswax to give the candy a nice shinny surface. At Tree Hugger we believe that saving the bees is just as important as saving and planting trees.  So you will not find beeswax in our bubble gum balls or our new Tree Hugger Natural Sugar Free Mini-Sticks.  We use sustainable Caranauba wax in our bubble gum balls. They may not be as shiny as gumballs covered with Beeswax but at least there are no bees harmed.
