How do I read the Code Dating on Tree Hugger Products?

All Tree Hugger Items have a best by date printed on the packaging.

The Best by Date refers to the Date recommended that you use the product by for best sensory quality. It is not an expiration date, but rather the date by which we recommend consumption.

Is Tree Hugger Mini Sticks Made with Real Chicle Biodegradable?

Tree Hugger Mini Sticks Made with Real Chicle is biodegradable.

The amount of time it takes depends on many environmental factors such as temperature, light, moisture, chemical factors caused by change in the PH; and where the gum is disposed. Other factors include the action of enzymes by the person who chewed the gum and the microbial process in the substrate where the product was discarded.

Environmental factors make it difficult to estimate the exact length of time it takes for a piece of Tree Hugger Mini Sticks gum to degrade completely. Based on all these factors, it can take a very short time or up to 12 months.

So please dispose responsibly.

How much Xylitol is in each stick of Tree Hugger Mini Sticks Sugar Free Gum?

Each Individually wrapped stick of Tree Hugger Mini Stick Sugar Free Gum Sweetened with Xylitol weighs 2 grams.

Each Stick of Gum contains about 56% Xylitol or 1.12 Grams.

Does Tree Hugger contain BHT?

None of the Tree Hugger products contain BHT.

BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) is a lab-made chemical that is added to foods as a preservative. We do not include Food Preservatives in our Tree Hugger items. We believe that fewer ingredients are better; and ingredients you can pronounce and recognize are always the best.

BHT is used in many gum products but not in Tree Hugger.
